AMSOIL BMK30 Heavy-Duty Bypass System

The AMSOIL BMK30 Heavy-Duty Bypass System is a high-capacity bypass filtration system designed for large diesel engines, commercial vehicles, construction equipment, agricultural machinery and industrial applications. Used with the large-capacity EABP120 Bypass Oil Filter, it provides extremely efficient fine-particle and soot filtration for engines with large oil capacities and demanding operating conditions.

Bypass filter sold separately. The BMK30 system supplied by AMSOIL Australia does not include the EABP120 Bypass Oil Filter. Order the required filter separately.

Designed for Heavy-Duty Applications

The BMK30 is designed specifically for applications requiring greater filtration capacity than AMSOIL's smaller universal bypass systems. It uses the EABP120, the largest filter in the AMSOIL Ea Bypass Oil Filter range, and is suitable for engine oil capacities from approximately 22.7 to 56.8 litres.

High-Efficiency Bypass Filtration

The BMK30 works alongside the engine's existing full-flow oil filter. A portion of the engine oil is continuously directed through the EABP120 bypass filter before being returned to the engine's lubrication system.

AMSOIL Ea Bypass Oil Filters provide 98.7% absolute efficiency at 2 microns, removing extremely fine contaminants and soot particles that conventional full-flow filters cannot efficiently capture.

Increased Oil and Filtration Capacity

The EABP120 adds approximately 3.8 litres of oil capacity to the lubrication system. The additional oil and high-capacity filter media increase total system capacity while providing continuous fine-particle filtration during operation.

Universal Heavy-Duty Installation

The BMK30 is a universal heavy-duty system rather than an engine-specific kit. Installation requires suitable pressurised oil supply and return locations on the engine. Application-specific adapters required to connect the system to the engine are sold separately.

Designed for the EABP120

The BMK30 uses one EABP120 Bypass Oil Filter. The EABP120 is specifically designed for the BMK30 Heavy-Duty Bypass System and provides the filtration capacity required for large heavy-duty lubrication systems.

Do not exceed the applicable distance, operating-hours or time limit, whichever occurs first. Additional oil capacity is an estimate; always verify the correct oil level using the engine oil dipstick.

Application-Specific Connections Required

The BMK30 is a universal system. Adapters for connecting the oil supply and return lines to the particular engine are not included and must be selected to suit the application.

Installation Considerations

The filter mount should be installed on a structure capable of supporting the weight of the filtration system and positioned where it is protected from road debris, off-road damage, excessive vibration, exhaust heat and moving components. Sufficient clearance must also be provided for installation and removal of the EABP120 filter.

Kit Hardware

The BMK30 hardware package includes the BK305 filter mount assembly, mounting hardware, four BP260 hose fittings, cable ties and approximately 4.57 metres (15 ft) of BP250 13/32-in ID hose. Application-specific engine adapters are required separately.
