AMSOIL European Synthetic Motor Oil
European vehicles frequently require engine oils developed around specifications that extend beyond a simple viscosity grade. AMSOIL European Synthetic Motor Oils are formulated for European petrol and diesel applications requiring appropriate ACEA classifications and manufacturer-specific performance requirements.
Why European Oil Specifications Matter
Manufacturers including Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche may specify their own lubricant performance requirements for particular engines. These requirements can address factors such as wear protection, deposit control, oil-drain capability and compatibility with emissions-control equipment. Two oils displaying the same SAE viscosity therefore may not be suitable for the same European vehicle.
