How Recommendations Are Chosen
Products are recommended according to the lubricant specifications required for your selected vehicle. In some cases this can produce recommendations that may appear unusual at first glance, such as a product marketed primarily for diesel or marine applications.
This occurs because the lookup matches products against the required lubricant standards and specifications rather than simply matching them by product name or intended market. Understanding the Results
Where several suitable engine oils are available, recommendations may include options intended for general use, higher-kilometre vehicles and premium applications.
