Choosing the Right Motorcycle Engine Oil

Motorcycle engine oil can face a very different operating environment from oil used in a passenger car. Many motorcycles use one lubricant to protect the engine, lubricate the transmission and operate a wet clutch, while high engine speeds, elevated temperatures and transmission gears can place additional mechanical and thermal stress on the oil.
