AMSOIL Diesel Cetane Boost (ACB) is a concentrated diesel fuel additive designed to improve ignition quality by raising the fuel's cetane number. It can increase cetane by up to eight points, helping promote easier starting, smoother combustion and improved diesel engine performance.

Cetane number describes how readily diesel fuel ignites after it is injected into the combustion chamber. A higher cetane number generally means a shorter ignition delay, allowing combustion to begin sooner and more predictably.

AMSOIL Diesel Cetane Boost uses concentrated cetane-improving chemistry to raise the cetane number by up to eight points, providing a simple way to improve the ignition quality of diesel fuel.

Suitable for a Wide Range of Diesel Engines

AMSOIL Diesel Cetane Boost is recommended for light-duty and heavy-duty diesel engines, including on-road, off-road and marine applications. It is suitable for use with ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) and is compatible with biodiesel fuels.

It is also compatible with modern diesel exhaust-emissions equipment, including diesel particulate filters (DPFs), making it suitable for both older diesel engines and modern emissions-equipped vehicles.
