AMSOIL DOMINATOR Coolant Boost is a high-performance cooling-system additive designed to improve heat transfer, reduce engine operating temperatures and protect against corrosion. Developed for demanding motorsport applications, it is particularly useful in racing cooling systems that use straight water instead of conventional antifreeze coolant.

Its proprietary tiered-surfactant technology improves contact between the coolant and hot metal surfaces, helping transfer heat more efficiently from the engine to the radiator. A specialised corrosion-inhibitor package also helps protect the radiator, water pump, cylinder heads, engine block and other cooling-system components.

Many motorsport applications use straight water as a cooling medium, particularly where racing regulations restrict conventional glycol-based antifreeze. Although water transfers heat effectively, it does not provide the corrosion protection supplied by a properly formulated coolant.

Coolant Boost is an additive, not a complete replacement for antifreeze or an engine manufacturer's specified coolant.
