AMSOIL DOMINATOR Synthetic Racing Oil is engineered specifically for racing and high-performance applications where engines are exposed to operating conditions well beyond those experienced in normal road use. High rpm, increased cylinder pressures, elevated oil temperatures and heavy component loads all place additional demands on the lubricant.
DOMINATOR is designed around those demands, providing a specialised synthetic racing oil option for purpose-built competition engines and highly modified performance applications.
Built for Extreme Racing Conditions
Competition engines can operate under sustained high loads and temperatures while generating substantially greater stress on bearings, valvetrain components, pistons and other internal engine parts. Maintaining a strong lubricant film under these conditions is critical to protecting the engine throughout a race, dyno session or other high-performance use.

Racing Oil Is Different from Everyday Engine Oil
Racing engines are often built, operated and serviced very differently from road-going vehicles. Oil selection should reflect the engine design, clearances, fuel type, operating temperature, expected load and intended service interval rather than simply choosing an oil based on viscosity alone.
For engines that spend most of their time on the road, a street-oriented lubricant such as AMSOIL Signature Series or Z-ROD may be more appropriate depending on the application. DOMINATOR is intended for engines where competition use and extreme operating conditions are the priority.
