Large-displacement V-Twin engines can generate extreme heat, particularly in summer, slow-moving traffic and other demanding riding conditions. Excessive heat can accelerate oil oxidation, contribute to deposits and reduce the lubricant's ability to protect critical engine components.

AMSOIL 20W-50 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil uses heat-resistant synthetic base oils and a robust anti-wear additive system to maintain protection under severe operating conditions. Tested Under Extreme Heat

During 1,000 miles (1,609 km) of dynamometer testing, oil temperatures reached 300°F (149°C) and cylinder temperatures reached 421°F (216°C). AMSOIL V-Twin Oil helped control piston-ring deposits, prevent ring sticking and protect against piston scuffing, supporting compression and engine performance under severe high-temperature operation.

Protects Transmissions and Primaries
